Subject: Jefferson Flat Pit August 1,2008
David,
Here are some new pictures. The pictures are the north west side of our pit. This has been described to me as the
old Wright pit.The pit and small wetland was there when we started mining our north side of the pit.l believe this is
the location you are referring to. Back in the mid 1980s, Minerals and Mining had Bob Wallace the Director at the
time for Road and Bridge put the small berm that is there now between the small wetland in the old Wright pit and
our pit as we mined the northwest side of the pit to keep the water from flowing into our operation. Some of the
old pit is on our property and some is on the adjacent property. There is water standing there presently and for
several years. Park County Road and Bridge would be happy to cover the water that is on our property and will
start the operation Monday. Please let me know if this resolution will work for you. I will record the operation and
forward a copy to you.
Respectfully,
David E. Kintz Sr
8/21/2008
