The previously submitted design information generally remains the same,
with the minor modification of lowering the level of the emergency spillway, so that the reservoir is no
longer a jurisdictional impoundment under applicable provisions of the Office of the Colorado State
Engineer. With the reduction in the level of the emergency spillway, the maximum design mine water
storage volume has been reduced accordingly, with the other design storage volumes (ie: 100-year, 24-
hour stormwater storage, and pump buffer storage) remaining the same. The Reservoir is still designed
as a non-discharging storage reservoir, with adequate level controls and freeboard to assure that
discharge does not occur, even under a worst-case scenario (ie: all storage components at maximum
levels).
Included in this revision submittal are two copies of all PAP text, and supporting materials that have
been revised. Revised materials provided for insertion/replacement are identified, and placement
instructions provided, by the attached Summary of Revisions/Additions. Given seasonal construction
limitations, we would appreciate your timely review and action on this revision submittal package and
look forward to approval of the pending Technical Revision application. To facilitate your review, we
have included a copy of the revised text with revisions highlighted. Thanks for your continuing
cooperation and assistance. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this submittal
or related matters.
Best

Manager
cc: Mike Berdine/TCC
Matt Florence
