Division of Reclamation, Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaging CD (or DVD): Mining and Safety 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new insWlatka of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase a= be in the . A DVD drive will mod a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain Ma with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif film on your computer that will handle single and multiage documents. On a Windows XP CoWuter, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfenView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with QwckVww. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be con$gured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration an the user's responsibility.
