Data representative of the physical and chemical properties of the pertinent
strata are contained in the current permit (Section II.13.4). We have no reason to
believe that these properties would change. Additional data related to the
mineable coal seam thickness was provided on Map 132.
2. The closest structure mentioned in Item 2 to the proposed permit boundary is
approximately 1800 feet. Well beyond the 300 foot buffer called out by Section
34-33-114(2)(g)(V). These structures are located adjacent to the initial permit
area. Expansion areas are located several miles from such structures.
3. Page III-9 was modified to mention other structures within the permit area not
previously identified. Page III-8 was also modified due to repagination. Map 1
was modified to help identify the locations of these structures per Rule
2.05.6(6)(a)(ii)(B).
4. Changes have been made to Section IV.K as requested. Revised page IV-45 is
enclosed.
Signs reflecting the new permit boundaries will be put in place once this revision
is approved.
