(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1977-307
INSPECTION DATE: 8-5-08
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRM
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the normal monitoring program established by the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety for permitted sites. The CM-25 Mine is presently a fully reclaimed 110(2)
permitted site. Glen Williams, Mine Manager for Cotter Corporation accompanied the inspector on site.
No signs or markers are currently observed on site. Due to the fact that this is a fully reclaimed site the lack of sign
and markers is not considered a problem. As noted in the previous inspection, should Cotter reactive the site one of
the requirements will be re-establishment of boundary markers and signage.
The portal area shows no signs of settling or reopening. The entire area is well vegetated with four-winged saltbush,
snakeweed, and several grass species. No noxious weeds were observed within the permit area.
Vegetation has made the site stable and no erosion or sedimentation is noted. No off site damage or impacts were
noted.
The Division holds a cursory bond of $100.00 and DOE holds $4000.00 per Rule 4.2.1(8). The estimate was
updated in 2003 based on full reclamation at $2,873.00. Therefore, the bond is considered adequate for current
conditions.
No issues or problems are noted.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no.
970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Glen Williams
OPERATOR: Cotter Corporation
STREET: P.O.
