Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
I have completed my review of Colowyo's adequacy responses received July 14, 2008 for
Technical Revision No. 71 (TR-71), #C-81-019.
1. Rule 4.05.9(2) requires the applicant demonstrate that the 25-year, 24-hour storm
event can be safely passed through the emergency spillway. No SEDCAD design
information was provided for the larger storm event. Please provide the necessary
information to comply with Rule 4.05.9(2) for the Section 16 pond.
Colowyo Response: 25-year storm design information was submitted.
DRMS Response: Response accepted.
2. Pages Exh.7-140-2 and Exh.7-140-3 are Figure1 and Figure 2, respectively. The
legend on these figures appears to incorrectly identify the permit boundary. Please
review and correct the legends on these two figures to accurately represent
information on the figure.
Colowyo Response: Permit boundary is corrected (off the map).
DRMS Response: Response accepted.
I have no remaining concerns regarding this revision. If you have any questions, please let
me know.
Office of Office-of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
