One
home can be built on each 35-acre parcel without county or city review, other than a building permit and
sewer/septic permit for each home (no subdivision permit is required). The Ewing Mesa road would not be
reviewed by the county or city unless more than one home was built on a 35-acre parcel (which would require a
subdivision permit).
She also said that Oakridge had obtained a permit for a golf course in the late 1990s, but that permit would have
expired by now.
The La Plata County online GIS shows the permit area is outside Durango city limits.
Tom
8/11/2008
