(GGI), is pleased to provide this letter and associated attachments documenting
our response to the items discussed during our March 18, 2008 meeting in Denver, Colorado. GGI
represents LKA Int. in areas of regulatory compliance as related to the Golden Wonder mine and
has limited power of attorney authority to be able to sign application forms etc., related to these
issues. his Response Letter and the associated Attachments present several deliverables in
response to the requests made during the March 18th meeting. These deliverables include a
revised Stormwater Management Plan for the Golden Wonder Mine site that documents the
recently incorporated best management procedures to control stormwater on the Level 6 pad and
access road. This deliverable provides a series of conceptual diagrams (as per CDPHE request)
that depict stormwater best management practices (bmps) associated with the pad and road as
well as the design aspects of these features. Recent photographs of these bmps (taken in March,
2008) are also provided. As per our discussions during the March meeting, LKA Int. and GGI invite
the CDPHE to conduct a site visit when weather and access conditions permit. LKA Int., and GGI
invite CDPHE to contact us immediately if any remaining concerns exist regarding the information
contained herein.
Sincerely;
X 75
Karmen King/Aquatic Toxicologist
Gault Group Inc.
36 W.
