Florence Pit M-2001-070 <br />Mining Activity-- August 14, 2007-August 5, 2008 <br />The mine was closed for the last season at the end of September at which time the <br />excavations made were backfilled. <br />It was reopened at the end of June 2008. Very little activity has taken place to date this <br />year. <br />Any excavations were in the same area as last year and are marked on the map with an X. <br />The dirt moved was deposited in the area of the X circled. All was on the floor of the <br />mine with no topsoil or vegetation disturbed and all within the permit area.
