IV. Problems, Recommendations and Compliance Dates <br /> The operator is advised that the following problems have been identified during inspections <br /> and that failure to correct the problems may result in the Division taking an ENFORCEMENT <br /> ACTION pursuant to CRS 1973, as amended, 34-33-123. (Recommendations and compliance dates are <br /> to be clearly noted. Dates are to be specific, e.g., January 31, 1982 and underlined.) <br /> 017-83-3 Seal the bathhouse pond emergency spill way by July 11 , 1983. <br /> 017-83-4 Remove sediment from the MK pond by June 13, 1983. <br /> 017-83-5 Continue to add flocculant to the bus garage pond until the discharge is in compliance <br /> and clean sediment from the upper pond by July 11 , _1983. <br /> 017-83-6 The four sediment ponds in series below the refuse pile must be completely cleaned <br /> of sediment by June 13, 1983. If, in the interim period, total suspended solids in the <br /> effluent approach 70 mg/l . flocculant must be added. <br /> Resolution in Progress <br /> 017-83-1 Coal must be cleaned up from the undisturbed area below the Mine No. 2 coal stockpile <br /> when snow has melted enough to allow cleanup without unnecessary disturbance to existing <br /> vegetation. A buffer strip 30 feet wide is to be established between stockpiled coal and <br /> disturbed area to allow for future cleanup. <br />
