THREATENED AND ENDANGERED SPECIES: <br />General Comments: The area is incorporated in the known ranges for the black-footed ferret, <br />Mexican spotted owl, and yellow-billed cuckoo; however, no habitat is present in the project area itself <br />for these species. There is no habitat for threatened or endangered plants in the project area. <br />No impacts to T&E fish species: project is not in the riparian area and no water depletion expected., <br />The project activity, as proposed, would have no effect on federally-listed threatened, endangered, <br />candidate species or their habitats. <br />The Bald Eagle is removed from the endangered species list but maintains protected status under the <br />post-delisting monitoring and management plan and other authorities. A large contiguous geographic <br />area of winter foraging habitat for bald eagles is in the area.
