o The operator is responsible for informing all persons associated with this project that they <br />will be subject to Federal prosecution for knowingly disturbing Native American Indian <br />shrines, historic and prehistoric archaeology sites, including any pet roglyphs or <br />pictographs, or for collecting artifacts of any kind, including historic items and/or <br />arrowheads and pottery fragments from Federal lands. <br />o Attached is the BLM seed mixture to be used for reclamation of the drill sites, if <br />necessary. <br />o Hydrology <br />1. A Storm Water Prevention Plan (SWPP) and permit is required by the State of <br />Colorado, for actions that collectively disturb more than 1 surface acre. The surface <br />area disturbed by exploration operations, and final land reclamation planning will be <br />consistent with the approved SWPP. <br />2. For all newly disturbed areas, including, pads, pits and access roads, site specific <br />locations shall be selected to minimize soil cut and fill volumes. Additionally, these <br />sites will be located to avoid encroachment or interception of drainage channels (any <br />defined channel having a bottom width of 2 feet wide or greater), where possible. <br />3. On all road crossings of defined drainage channels, any needed cut and fills or other <br />channel modification will be at the minimum necessary to provide safe access across <br />the channel. All cut and fills below the average high water line along stream channels <br />require notification to the Army Corps of Engineers. All channel modifications will <br />be fully reclaimed and stabilized during final reclamation. <br />4. All equipment and vehicles will be confined to the approved access roads. <br />5. Any cleared trees will be stockpiled for use during reclamation. <br />6. Cross drains (dips, waterbars, etc) will be installed on newly constructed access <br />roads. Cross drains should be located above breaks in vertical profile from shallow to <br />steep grades to prevent the shallow grade surface drainage from gaining velocity <br />and erosive power on the steep grade.
