ATTACHMENT E
J-BIRD PROJECT AREA RECLAMATION
Reclamation of the drill holes and drill pads will be conducted in the following manner:
Drill holes will be plugged and abandoned after the drilling is complete and the holes
have been logged. The holes will be abandoned by the following method: if wet, the aquifer
zone will be sealed off and isolated from other parts of the hole with a cement grout, cement/
bentonite mix or "abandonite" that will be placed to levels at least 50-ft above and below the top
and bottom of the aquifer. If multiple aquifers are encountered, the hole will be sealed bottom to
top. For dry holes, the hole will be back-filled with cuttings and a 5-feet thick cement cap will
be placed at the top of the hole. In all cases where there is a soil layer, the cement plug will be
topped off at about 12 inches below grade, or at the soil/bedrock contact, whichever is deepest,
and native soil will be used to cover the hole and the cement plug. If the hole is directly on
bedrock, the cement plug at the top will be topped off flush with the top of the bedrock.
Drill cuttings will be back-filled into the drill holes and the remainder will be spread
evenly and thinly on the surface and raked into the native soil.
Once the drill holes have been reclaimed, the drill- hole pads will be scarified, manually
seeded, then raked or dragged to assure good germination conditions. The seed mix will be a
BLM-approved native seed mixture in Attachment F.
The majority of the drill sites are located on existing road prisms, while a few are located
just off roads or in clearings, but within the 400sq.ft. pad size. One section of road needs minor
repair and is described in DRMS prospecting permit III.6.D., as well as attachment A in table 1.
All sites are on level areas where cut and fill are not required. Therefore, soil will not need to be
removed or stockpiled. Vehicular traffic and staging equipment will remain within drill pads and
road prisms. Any disturbance created beyond the edge of the road will be smoothed and/ or re-
contoured to its original state.
All flagging, staking or any other markings will be cleaned up and removed prior to final
departure from the site.
BlueRock Energy Corp.
J-Bird Exploration Project
05/19/2008
