ATTACHMENT C
J-BIRD PROJECT AREA
SURFACE AND GROUNDWATER HYDROLOGY
Drill-hole location will be at least 10 feet out of any drainages. Those drill-hole locations
adjacent to drainages will have location specific large rocks placed on the drainage side of the
drill pad. This will help prevent surface water from the drainages entering the drill-hole(s). Silt
fences or waddles will be placed on the downstream side of any drill pads near drainages.
B1ueRock Energy Company does not expect to encounter any ground-water based on the
geology and past history of mining at the site. However, if ground-water is encountered there
will be a contingency plan. This plan will use a portable stock-tank as containment until a
suitable mud pit can be constructed to contain the fluids from the portable stock-tank. The mud
pit dimensions will be a standard 8'x6'x4'. If surface soil depth does not allow for construction
of a mud pit the water and sediment in the stock tank will be allowed to settle and separate. The
top layer of water will be decanted by use of a submersible pump and hose. The water will be
released onto the soil at a point specific location near the drill pad. The sediment fines will be
scraped out of the stock tank and raked into the drill pad soil.
BlueRock Energy Corp. J-Bird Exploration Project 05/19/2008
