temporary opening or gate would be permanently rewired and stretched to their <br />original tension. <br />• Removal or alteration of existing range improvements would be prohibited unless <br />prior approval from the BLM is obtained. <br />• Personnel would be instructed to minimize contact and avoid harassment of <br />livestock. <br />• Any facilities impacted by the proposed project would be repaired or replaced as <br />soon as practical before the end of the project. <br />Cultural Resources <br />• The third-party archeologist would conduct a Class III survey for cultural resources <br />of all areas to be disturbed by project activities including travel routes, drill sites, and <br />staging areas. All cultural sites identified in the Class III cultural resources field <br />survey would be flagged for avoidance. The archeologist would also be responsible <br />for assisting with protection, identification, and assessment of any cultural resources <br />discovered during the operations. <br />• If subsurface cultural resources were found during project operations, all work in the <br />immediate vicinity of the resource would cease and Homeland Uranium, Inc. would <br />notify the BLM immediately. Homeland Uranium, Inc. would implement those <br />measures requested by the BLM to protect the resource until it could be adequately <br />evaluated by a permitted archaeologist, if necessary. Further work at the <br />archaeological site would be discontinued. <br />• If human remains were encountered during project operations, all work in the vicinity <br />of the remains would cease and the remains would be protected from further <br />exposure or damage. Homeland Uranium, Inc. would notify the BLM immediately. <br />• All employees and their contractors would be informed before commencement of <br />operations that any disturbance to, defacement of, or removal of archaeological, <br />historical, or sacred material would not be permitted. Violation of the laws that <br />protect these resources would be treated as law enforcementtadministrative issues.
