The Public Comment Period began and comments were to be <br />submitted to DRMS in writing. This amendment application was officially filed April 28, 2008. <br />Publication of Public Notice: Starting May 7, 2008, CC&V began weekly publication of the public <br />notice for four consecutive weeks in the Pikes Peak Courier. In addition, CC&V mailed a copy of <br />the notice to all landowners adjacent to or within 200 feet of the site. <br />Public Comment Period: The public comment period ends 20 days after the final published public <br />notice. In this matter, the public comment period ended June 17, 2008. Objection letters received <br />by DRMS were sent to CC&V. <br />Notices of Pre-hearing Conference and Formal Board Hearing: DRMS issues notice of these <br />meetings to all parties. A 30-day notice is provided in advance of the Formal Board Hearing, which <br />is tentatively set for the October 2008 Board Meeting. <br />DRMS Recommendation for Approval or Denial: This recommendation to the Board is due 150 <br />days after the filing date, unless CC&V requests an extension of this recommendation date. <br />DRMS Recommendation Rationale Notice: DRMS must mail the recommendation and rationale <br />for approval or denial to all parties at least three working days prior to the Pre-Hearing Conference. <br />Pre-hearing Conference: This conference clarifies the proposed issues to be heard at the Formal <br />Board Hearing and helps set the proposed hearing agenda. This conference is generally for those <br />with "party status", and they must provide witness lists and exhibits at this conference. This <br />conference is held a minimum of 10 days prior to the Formal Board Hearing. <br />Motions Filing Period: Motions must be made in writing and filed by participating parties no later <br />than two working days following the Pre-hearing Conference. <br />Pre-hearing Conference Order: The proposed Pre-Hearing Conference order and hearing agenda <br />will be made public to all parties prior to Formal Board Hearing. <br />Motions Response: The Board must receive written responses to all motions at least three working <br />days prior to the Formal Board Hearing. <br />Formal Board Hearing: The Formal Board Hearing on this application must be held before the <br />180`h day after the filing date or the application is automatically approved. At the hearing, Board <br />members will hear testimony from DRMS and the Parties. Non-parties will have the opportunity to <br />address the Board during Public Comment. The Board will then render its decision.
