Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a revision for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. <br />Attached is a copy of the pertinent sections of the revision submittal. The revision was called complete on <br />July 24, 2008. The decision due date is September 22, 2008. <br />In Technical Revision No. 55, Bowie Resources, LLC is proposing to realign curve number I 1 of the paved <br />main haul road above the B-Seam portal bench. The project will involve reconstructing and reinforcing the <br />cut slope above the B-Seam portals, building two retaining walls and a French drain, rearranging about <br />8,000 cubic yards of cut and fill material and reconstructing and paving curve number 11 of the haul road. <br />All the work will be on property owned by Bowie Resources, LLC and no increase in surface disturbance <br />acreage will occur. <br />This revision is available for review at the Paonia Public Library, 140 Grand Avenue, Paonia, CO 81428. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />I'Di.4 <br />seph J.
