Market Street <br />Meeker <br />Colorado Zip Code: 81641 <br />American Soda is applying to amend its existing permit to change the post-mining use <br />of 26.1 acres of land from Rangeland to Industrial/Commercial. <br />4 acres located in the SE 1/ SW 1/ BE 1/, 0.8 acres located in the SW '/ SE '/ NE '/, 2 <br />acres located in the NW 1/ SE 1/ NE '/, and 7 acres located in the NE 1/ SW '/ NE 1/ <br />Section 19, Township IS, Range 97 West, 6th Principle Meridian, Rio Blanco County, <br />Colorado, totaling 13.8 acres which comprise the main processing building, control <br />room, administrative offices, maintenance shop, septic leach field, electrical substation <br />and storm water pond. Ownership of these assets has been transferred to EnCana Oil <br />and Gas (USA), Inc. and the right of way grant from BLM to EnCana has been issued <br />changing the use of this property from mining to oil and gas production. <br />2.3 acres located in the NW 1/ SE 1/ NE 1/ , 3 acres located in the NE 1/ SW 1/ NE 1/ , <br />5 acres located in the SE 1/ NE '/ NE 1/ , and 2 acres located SW 1/ NE 1/ NE 1/ <br />Section 19, Township IS, Range 97 West, 6th Principle Meridian, Rio Blanco County, <br />Colorado, Totaling 12.3 acres which comprise the temporary lay down and parking area <br />as well as the temporary batch plant area, heliport and top soils storage area have been <br />incorporated as part of the right of way granted by BLM to Enterprise Production <br />Partners for the construction of a natural gas processing plant. <br />The changes in use of the listed affected lands by the issuance of the right of ways from <br />the United States Bureau of Land Management of EnCana Oil and Gas USA and <br />Enterprise Production Partners has changed the post mining land use from Rangeland <br />Habitat to Industrial/Commercial and thus removing American Soda's ability to reclaim <br />the effected lands.
