I ,have reviewed Bowie Resources responses to our June 6, 2007 adequacy letter as requested in
your memo dated May 20, 2008. The focus of my review were questions 25, 26, 27, 31, 34, and
35.
25. Monitoring frequency will be continuous and any seismic event with a PGA of greater
than .05 g measured at the Terror Creek monitoring site will result in an inspection by
Bowie of the Bruce Park Dam and the adjacent landslide. Quarterly reports to the
Division will document and discuss all data recorded over the reporting period. I believe
this question is resolved.
26. Issue resolved. Report format is much improved.
27. Issue resolved. Permit text discussion is provided as requested by DRMS.

34. Has the SEO reviewed the Geotechnical Monitoring Plan for the landslide in Vol. IIIA,
Tab 20? If they are OK with it I am fine with this issue.
35. Based on meetings with Bowie and review of the revised information, I have no further
questions at this time. Revised engineering and monitoring plans are sufficient to allow
the project to proceed.
