TRAPPER p11WIp81NC.
May 29, 2008

Mr. Jason Musick 2 2008
Environmental Protection Specialist SUN
Colorado Division of Minerals & Geology L?Ivisluo c, rcac?an'a?on,
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Mining and Safety
Denver, CO 80203
Re: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit No. C-81-010
Permit Renewal RN-05, 2°d Response to Division Adequacy Comments
Dear Mr. Musick:
Enclosed is our response to your letter of May 7, 2008 regarding further clarification to Division adequacy
comments to the above-referenced Permit Renewal RN-05 application.
Trapper Response to Comment 1:
The undersigned spoke with Joanna Cramer on May 20, 2008 about the information requested on the May 7
letter. We came to agreement that all of the requested board member information had already been provided
with the last response and that no further response from Trapper is required.
Trapper Response to Comment 2:
The landslide area encompasses approximately 267 acres. This area includes the small canyons to the south of
the slide mass, the slide mass itself and the bulge at the toe of the slide. In the unlikely event that this area is
not developed, the topsoil plan would be as follows.
The Slide Area Reclamation Plan calls for 334,604 CY of topsoil to be returned to the slide area, as outlined
in the Appendix A addition in our response submittal of April 7, 2008. Obviously, there will be some amount
of topsoil that is intact in the slide area. We estimate this to be 60 to 70 acres. However, this reclamation
plan assumes no intact topsoil, and is therefore very conservative. The full amount of 334,604 CY can be
moved from the following topsoil piles that are adjacent to the slide area.
G1-05 51,660 CY
G1-03 100,828 CY
G2-03 7,644 CY
G1-02 213,612 CY
G2-02 18,144 CY
G4-02 137,784 CY
G1-01 101,948 CY
G06-2 61,768 CY
G06-3 16,436 CY
G06-4 12,572 CY
Total 519,620 CY
Thus, there is more than adequate volume to replace all topsoil in the slide area if needed.
P.O.
