Given the aforementioned, the revegetation objective for diversity will be to establish a <br />community on the reclaimed areas that contain the following; <br />For areas targeting the livestock grazing subcomponent of the Rangeland Land Use (Pre- <br />2008 reclamation): <br />a) At least two cool season perennial grasses with between 3% and 50% relative <br />cover (composition). <br />b) All forbs combined with between 1% and 50% relative cover (composition). <br />For areas targeting the livestock grazing subcomponent of the Rangeland Land Use (Post- <br />2008 reclamation): <br />a) At least three native* cool season perennial grasses with between 3% and 50% <br />relative cover (composition), and <br />b) At least one perennial forb or shrub with between 2% and 50% relative cover <br />(composition), or <br />c) A total of all forbs or all shrubs combined with between 4% and 50% relative <br />cover (composition), or <br />d) If five or more native* cool season perennial grass taxa contribute between 3% <br />and 50% composition, the requirement for perennial forbs and shrubs shall be <br />limited to 1% or more relative cover combined. <br />For areas targeting the wildlife habitat subcomponent of the Rangeland Land Use (Post- <br />2008 reclamation). <br />a) At least four principle species (more than 3% composition) including a minimum <br />of two native cool season perennial grasses and a minimum of 1 perennial forb or <br />shrub with between 3% and 50% composition, or <br />b) At least three principle species of native* cool season perennial grasses with <br />between 3% and 50% composition, and all native* forbs or all native* shrubs <br />combined with more than 5% composition, or all forbs and all shrubs combined <br />with more than 8% composition. <br />The dominant species will contribute to the appropriate structure and stability of the <br />The limitation to "native" status will not apply to introduced (and CDRMS approved) taxa specifically <br />planted for an approved use (such as Orchard grass or Cicer milkvetch). <br />The limitation to "native" status will not apply to introduced (and CDRMS approved) taxa specifically <br />planted for an approved use (such as Orchard grass or Cicer milkvetch). <br />4.15-26 Revision Date: 3/14/08 <br />Revision No.: TR-72
