Mining ana'sawAy <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RE: Storke Wastewater Pump Station Pump Replacement <br />Dear Mr. Sorenson <br />11-7-D7 41? <br />The Climax Mine is planning to remove the existing pump sets:at the Storke Wastewater Pump Station and replace them with <br />new pumps. As an important elect within the Climax mine water collection and treatment system, this work is considered <br />an Environmental Protection Facility (EPF) under the Environmental Protection Plan. Climax is submitting three (3) copies <br />of the attached drawings for Division review per Rule 7.3. -Major changes to these drawings are not anticipated, but changes <br />may occur based upon comments from the Division. - <br />Climax is anticipating the work associated with this project to start in December, 2007 and continue through the fast quarter <br />of 2008. Existing pump sets 1, 2 and 6 will remain until the three new sets are installed, tested and operational. Following <br />completion of the installation and prior to utilization of the new pump system, Climax willsubmit en&m certification of <br />the facility to the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at (719) 486-2150 ext. 615 or Gary Sliflca at ext. 723.
