• Following construction, seeding will take place on bare soil areas exposed and "affected" during
the construction activity, unless the disturbed area is intended as a driving surface (e.g., parking
lot or access/haul road).
• Inspections will be conducted weekly by the Climax Project Manager (or his designee) during
construction activities and at any time when heavy rain or snow is of concern. Inspection logs
will be maintained in the office of the Climax Project Manager or the Climax Environmental
Department.
• Oil products or other potentially hazardous materials used in this project will be kept in
appropriately labeled containers and will be used in such a manner to avoid or minimize contact
with rain and snow. Should the construction contractor bring oil or other potentially hazardous
materials on this project site in quantities exceeding 55 gallons, a spill plan will be required to
comply with 40 CFR Part l 12.
