Seneca Coal Company <br />Phase 11 Bond Release Request <br />May 2008 <br />- BRB-2: Topsoiled and revegetated from 1978 through 1981 and portions are part of this <br />bond release request. <br />- BRB-3: Topsoiled and revegetated from 1982 through 1995 and portions are part of this <br />bond release request. <br />- BRB-4: Topsoiled and revegetated from 1997 through 2003 and portions are part of this <br />bond release request. <br />- BRB-5: Includes the facilities area which has not been reclaimed. The remaining <br />portions of BRB 5 were reclaimed in 2007. This area is not part of this bond release <br />request. <br />The BRB's are shown on Exhibit 2, Chronological Revegetation. <br />Revegetation monitoring was conducted during the 2006 summer field season by ESCO <br />Associates Inc. Monitoring was conducted over the entire Phase II bond release request area <br />as shown on Exhibit A, Phase II Bond Request Area and includes the BRB-2, BRB-3, and <br />BRB-4 parcels. The sampling methods, details and results of the monitoring are contained in <br />the 2006 Revegetation Monitoring Keport submitted to CDRMS in March 2007. The cover data <br />tables tabulating the quantitative sampling conducted in the Seneca II reclaimed and <br />reference areas during July and August 2006 are contained in Attachment E, Revegetation <br />Supporting Documentation.
