(the managing partner) <br />and Golden Cycle Gold Corporation. The Cresson Project is located in one of the <br />most significant mining districts in the State of Colorado, with the greatest level <br />of historical mining occurring roughly between 1890 and 1920. As shown in the <br />following figure, the project is located in mountainous terrain between the small <br />towns of Cripple Creek and Victor, on Colorado State Highway 67, just south- <br />southwest of Pike's Peak. The area of the mine and its immediate vicinity has <br />historically been heavily mined, and there are many abandoned underground <br />workings, headw•orks, waste rock stockpiles, roadways, and other surface feature <br />associated with past mining activities.
