<br />2.4 Hazardous Waste Accumulation Storage Room <br />Hazardous wastes are stored in a separate room with its own external entrance located <br />at the rear of the light vehicle maintenance shop. Fire hazards in this room consist of <br />temporary storage (awaiting approved disposal) of small quantities (less than 55 gallons) <br />of flammable or combustible materials. The room is equipped with an overhead fire <br />suppression system. Outside the room on the exterior of the building is a hand held, <br />ABC rated, dry-chemical fire extinguisher suitable for the hazards in.the work area. <br />2.5 Ironclad Shop/Warehouse <br />Fire hazards in this building consist of: <br />• Covered tank storage of fresh oils, used oil, and antifreeze. The oil tank storage area is enclosed with two-hour <br />rated firewalls and protected by sprinklers. ~ Heat is supplied for the truck shop during <br />cold months by four used oil fire space heaters.
