Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for the Elk Creek and Sanborn Creek Mine's <br />Permit Renewa105. The estimate is 100 tasks (a summary sheet and tasks OOa-130) and <br />represents a new liability of $4,008,068.00. This new liability is an increase of <br />$134,745.00 over the current liability of $3,873,914.00 and an increase of $96,022.00 <br />over the current bond held of $3,912,042.00. The amount to enter on the appropriate <br />proposed decision coding form is +$96,022.00. <br />This estimate is only an update of costs since the 2006 Midterm Review, dated 11 April <br />2006. Additionally, all the reclamation cost estimates for the Minor Revisions and <br />Technical Revisions that have been approved since the 2006 Midterm Review have been <br />updated and included in this estimate. These Revisions include MR-78, 79, 80 and 81 <br />and TR-54, 56, 57 and 58. <br />The increase in-the mine's liability is due to equipment and material cost increases since <br />the last reclamation cost estimate calculation. No other inputs have been changed.
