Where
necessary, I have phrased my comments directly to the operator for ease in developing your
adequacy letter.
Rule 4.05.9(2) requires the applicant demonstrate that the 25-year, 24-hour storm
event can be safely passed through the emergency spillway. No SEDCAD design
information was provided for the larger storm event. Please provide the
necessary information to comply with Rule 4.05.9(2) for the Section 16 pond.
2. Pages Exh.7-140-2 and Exh.7-140-3 are Figure1 and Figure 2, respectively. The
legend on these figures appears to incorrectly identify the permit boundary. Please
review and correct the legends on these two figures to accurately represent
information on the figure.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver Grand Junction Durango Active and Inactive Mines
