MANAGEMENT <br />The DRMS' letter dated September 21, 2007 transmitted its adequacy review for the <br />referenced technical revision. On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), following are <br />its responses to the DRMS' comments and concerns. <br />1. Item resolved. <br />2. BRL will perform additional field studies during the 2009 calendar year to <br />address mountain shrub/xeric mountain shrub community delineation, <br />reference area comparability, and success demonstration approaches. The <br />report/revision will be submitted during the first quarter of 2010. See page <br />2.05-56i. <br />3. Item resolved. <br />4. BRL established a new seed mix for the shrub clumps based on DRMS' <br />recommendations. BRL followed DOW's recommendation regarding an <br />attempt to establish some smaller shrub clumps (from one to three acres in <br />size).
