percent so it will fill all but 1,875 cubic yards of the hole. Material that was spread on the <br />road during construction will be recovered by scrapers to fill the remainder of the hole and <br />graded to achieve approximate original contour. Topsoiling will take place as described in <br />Section 4.3.5. The area will be revegetated according to the approved standards at that time. <br />3.6.7 SUPPORT FACILITIES FOR POSTMINING LAND USE <br />Approximately 8,000 acres of land within and adjacent to the permit boundary are <br />anticipated to be used to form alivestock/ranching operation in the postmining era. The <br />lands adjacent to the permit boundary consist primarily of hay production lands on the west <br />side of Trout Creek. It is anticipated that these lands will continue to be used for hay <br />cropping and possibly livestock grazing while the acreage within the permit boundary will be <br />used primarily for livestock grazing. <br />Facilities within the permit area that will be retained to support the general <br />postmining land use of a livestock/ranching operation include the following: <br />1. Buildings <br />A. Shop/Maintenance Building <br />B. Truck Barn <br />C. Bath House <br />2. Other Areas <br />A. Coal Stockpile/Equipment Storage/Fuel Tank Area <br />B. Supply Yard <br />3. Sediment Structures <br />A. West Ridge Pond and diversion ditch <br />B. Center Ridge Pond <br />C. Moffat Pond and associated collection ditches <br />The buildings listed above to remain as part of the postmining landscape are considered <br />essential to a functioning livestock/ranching operation of the anticipated size and are valuable <br />assets to the property.
