The aforementioned Adequacy Letter requested information regarding two <br />adequacy comments. <br />Adequacy Comment #1 requested comments from surface owners and State and local <br />agencies as required by Rules 2.05.5(1)(a)(iii) and 2.05.5(1)(b). Enclosed are three copies <br />of the above referenced surface owners and State and local agencies comments. <br />Adequacy Corriment #2 requested information regarding the West Ridge diversion ditch <br />design to safely pass the peak runoff from a 10-year, 24-hour storm event as required by <br />Rule 4.05.3(3). Page 4.6-96 of the Edna Mine permit states that the West Ridge diversion <br />ditch "was designed to route inflow due to a 10-year, 24-hour storm and pumping from the <br />pits from the V~Jest Ridge drainage area into the sediment pond." Therefore this item has <br />been addressed„ <br />The original submitted revised pages to the permit (Revised Section 3.6 Page 3.6-11, <br />Revised Section 3.6 Page 3.6-14 and Revised Section 4.6 Page 4.6-96) referred to the <br />revision in the i:ooter as MR-54. These pages were edited to read MR-53. <br />Enclosed are tr~ree copies of the above referenced materials. It is my understanding that <br />this submittal fulfills all adequacy comments for MR-53. Additional copies of the Minor <br />Revision will 1>e sent to the appropriate federal agencies at your request and upon your <br />
