Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company MLE Traffic Impact Study
(future background traffic plus mine-related traffic at the maximum potential operational
level) at the two mine access intersections will operate at levels of service that are not
significantly lower than the current traffic operational levels of service.
In general, changes in traffic volumes and patterns due to the MLE project will not
significantly affect traffic operations on the key roadways and intersections around the
mine. With the proposed realignment of CR 82 and the proposed auxiliary lane
improvements at the CR 821/SH 67 intersection, the impacts of the MLE project will be
minimized. Traffic will continue to operate similar to current conditions with ample
capacity and increased safety.
•
•
Interstate Engineering, Inc. 15 April, 2008
