The permit will not be transferred and Lorencito Coal Company, LLC will remain the permittee. The Lorencito Canyon Mine is a reclaimed surface mine located in Las Animas County, approximately 3 miles west of Segundo on Hwy 12. The surface and the coal interest is private. The permit area encompasses approximately 3,142.00 acres. Copies of the proposed decision and the withdrawn application are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Den- ver, Colorado 80203 and at the County Clerk's Office in Las Animas County, 200 East First Street, Room 104, Trinidad, CO 81082. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal ,hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision: Such request must be made on or before February 21, 2008, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the pro- posed decision.
