Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />On March 27, 2008, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety reviewed the Zancanella & Associates, Inc. <br />letter fora 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Technical Revision package for the Eagle-Gypsum <br />Mine, Permit No. M-1984-041. Preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items <br />must be received before the Division can consider your request as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />• Per Rule 1.9.1, a technical revision is considered filed when the submittal includes the appropriate fee. <br />Please submit the fee of $216.00 to this office. <br />• Please submit an analysis of the biosolids that are proposed to be imported and treated on site. Specifically <br />include heavy metals, pH, nitrate /nitrite and any other constituents that maybe of concern. <br />• Per Rule 3.1.6, in the event that toxic materials are brought onto site what measures are to be implemented <br />to protect the hydrologic balance of the affected land and the surrounding area? <br />• If the treated biosolids are to be used as a soil amendment for reclamation within the permit area a revision <br />will need to be made to the approved Reclamation Plan. Please provide a detailed description of the <br />contents of the "Class A" biosolids that will be used within the permit area. Provide the recommended <br />application rate per acre and the proposed application method. <br />This letter shall not be construed to mean that there are no other technical deficiencies in your application.
