We
have determined that the lands covered in the request are fee lands and the mining activities on federal coal, which relied
on the site facilities, are now served by the unit train loadout at the Bowie No. 2 Mine facilities. In addition, the
reclamation appears to be properly carried out as reported. If the surface owners are satisfied with the work completed,
then the BLM has no objection to the DRMS Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance.
If you have any questions please contact me at 970-240-5302.
Sincerely,
/s/ Desty Dyer
Desty Dyer,
Uncompahgre Field Office Mining Engineer
CC Henry Austin, OSM
