Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division proposed to transfer. the King Coal Mine coal mining and reclamation permit, No. C-1981- <br />035 to GCC Energy, LLC from National King Coal, LLC on April 2, 2008. The underground coal mine <br />is located in La Plata County, approximately 7 miles southwest of Hesperus, Colorado. The coal to be <br />mined is under Federal ownership and the surface is under Private ownership.
