Our office has reviewed the submitted materials.
A search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory indicated that there are several areas in the
vicinity of the project area (Section 19, Township 1S, Range 97W, 6`" PM) that contain cultural
resources. Although no cultural resources have been identified at the project site itself, it is
possible that historic and/or prehistoric artifacts may be discovered during the course of the
project.
Should human remains be discovered during mining activities, the requirements under State Law
CRS 24-80 Part 13 apply and must be followed.
If you have any questions, please contact Joseph Saldibar, Architectural Services Coordinator, at
(303) 866-3741.
Sincerely,
~~~" W
~'Q-C Georgianna Contiguglia
State Historic Preservation fficer, and -
President, Colorado Historical Society
OFFICE OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION
303-866-3392 * Fax 303-866-2711 * E-mail: oahp@chs.state.co.us * Internet: www.coloradohistory-oahp.org
-I- • •:: ~• ^ •: •~II~r
1300 BROADWAY DeNVeR COLORADO 80203 TEL 303/866-3395 Fax 303/866-2711 www.coloradohistory-oahp.org
€C~ OFFICE of ARCHAEOLOGY and HISTORIC PRESERVATION
