Wood Products <br />No potential production on this site. <br />3. Wildlife 'Values <br />This site has a medium value for wildlife. The site supports <br />habitat for pronghorn, mule deer, and non-gamebirds. <br />4. Hydrological Interpretations <br />Soils in this site are grouped into "C" hydrologic group, <br />as outlined in the Soils of Colorado Loss Factors and <br />ErodibilitX Hydrologic Groupings 1979 Handbook. Field <br />investigations are needed to determine hydrologic cover <br />conditions and hydrologic curve numbers. Refer to SCS <br />~t~ional ErLgineering Handbook, Section 4, and Peak Flows <br />in,~olorado Handbook for more information. <br />5. Rec:reation and Natural Beauty <br />This site has fair to good aesthetic appeal and natural beauty <br />dues to the numerous forbs and shrubs that bloom from spring.to <br />suuuner. The recreation provided through hunting for deer and <br />pronghorn is generally good on this site. <br />6. gnilangered Plants and Animals <br />Gaura neomexicana coloradensis or Colorado butterfly weed has <br />beE:n reported as endangered in Douglas County. However, its <br />occurrence on this range site has not been proven. The Plains <br />sharp-tailed arouse is listed as endangered by the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife.
