June 27, 2007 <br />Job No. 03-0025 <br />EXHIBIT "G" <br />WATER INFORMATION <br />6.4.7 <br />(1) The Applicant does not expect to directly affect groundwater systems. Mining <br />will stop at a elevation of 2 feet above adjacent creek level.lf groundwater is <br />encountered, the Division will be notified and mining operations will be adjusted <br />accordingly. <br />(2) The operation might affect surface water during high precipitation. <br />(a) Please refer to Exhibit "C" Mining Map and Exhibit "F" Reclamation Map <br />for information on location and detail of earthen berms and surface water <br />drainage. <br />(c) Where surface water can be affected, a series of earthen berm will direct <br />the drainage. The earthen berms will be covered with Western <br />Wheatgrass (9#PSL) for erosion control. Refer to Mining map in <br />Exhibit "C" and Reclamation Map in Exhibit "F" for more information. A <br />Stormwater Management Plan will be implemented for this operation and <br />Stormwater Permit will be obtained. <br />(3) No project water is required. This is a dry pit operation and no washing is to <br />take place. Spray bars are available if material moisture content is insufficient to <br />control particular emissions. <br />(4) This is a dry pit no water is required, except for the water used for dust control <br />by truck/tanker equipped with a 2000 gallon tank. Truck will be filled at Sedalia <br />Water and Sanitation District specified location. <br />(5) The applicant will apply for Stormwater permit from the State of Colorado <br />Water Quality Control Division, Dept. of Health. <br />
