Conservation District received an amendment application, AM-03, for the San <br />Luis Project from Battle Mountain Resources Inc. (Battle Mountain). <br />This amendment proposes to add 977 acres to the permit area and to transfer ground <br />water from the West Pit to the adjacent ranch for use as irrigation supply water. <br />The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously in their January meeting to not support this <br />amendment.
