One copy of the document is not
bound so it can easily be electronically scanned. These documents include environmental
ground water monitoring data collected and compiled during our thirty first quarter of
operations (June 2008). No solution mining activity occurred during the report period.
The ground water data summary report is spiral bound as a non-confidential document and
includes a comparison of the 31 st operational quarter with baseline and operational
general statistics prior to the current reporting period. In addition, the tables provide
information for comparison of Ground Water Standards as provided in Regulation No. 41
and Numeric Protective Levels and Early Warning Indicators as amended in TR-4.
Comparison of the data values with the Early Warning Indicators (EWI) and the Numeric
Protective Levels (NPL) indicates one value above the calculated EWI during the sample
period. No values flagged above NPL during the period. The June 2008 value for
dissolved sodium recorded from the sample collected at the alluvial well 21-5 is 517 mg/L.
The calculated EWI for this constituent at this point is 498 mg/L. This information is
discussed in more detail and a graph representing the period of record for this constituent
at this well is shown in the Executive Summary of the report on pages 2.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding this information, please contact me
at (970) 285-0428 or Celina Akin at (970) 285-0406.
Sincere y,
w
Todd Wilson
A- PVC/ Gc%Pkx"'
Delivering a Crystal Clear Advantage
www.americansoda.com
