MANAGEMENT <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to provide for the drilling of eleven geotech holes. The geotech holes are <br />located on a bench west of the facilities in a location BRL intends to permit a new gob <br />pile. <br />Right of Entry <br />The drill sites and roads are located on BRL surface. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />Drilling will be performed in the roadways. The disturbance caused by this drilling <br />program will only be the road construction. No drill sites are necessary. The new roads <br />will disturb approximately 2.7 acres. The disturbance is not within the affected area <br />boundary so the affected area will increase 2.7 acres. <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume VI, Cultural Resources, item 3. <br />Access <br />Access to the geotech holes will be from the mine haul road near the lower water tank. <br />The road will run under the conveyor and then north along the west side of the downhill <br />conveyor. <br />Soils <br />A soils survey of the area is enclosed. The survey should be incorporated into the <br />permit in Volume III, Tab 7. Amended Map 04 is also enclosed.
