The applicant shall be <br />responsible for compliance with this plan, but the State Engineer's Office may also pursue the <br />landowner for eventual compliance. The required fee of $1,593 for the substitute water supply <br />plan has been paid (receipt no. 3628850). <br />Plan Operation <br />The Parker-Dersham Mine is located directly west of Hall-Irwin's existing Baseline <br />Resource Gravel Mine as shown in attached Figure 1. Operations at the site are expected to <br />occur during nine months of the year from March through November. <br />The applicant will dewater the active mining area to allow for dry mining. The <br />dewatering water will be conveyed through dewatering trenches to the 7.18 acre settling pond <br />located at the Baseline Resource Gravel Mine site and returned back to the river via the <br />Baseline return. <br />An alluvial well has been constructed on the Baseline Resource Gravel Mine Site <br />("Baseline Resource site") to provide water for concrete batching at the Baseline Resource site <br />and dust suppression. This well is currently permitted under well permit no. 66961-F (WDID <br />0210141) for operation under the Baseline Resource site SWSP and is located outside the <br />boundaries of the slurry wall.
