July 24, 2008
holes will be plugged using cement following standard procedures. No revegetation will be
conducted because the CBM well pads need to be relatively clear of vegetation for safety and
access considerations. CCR has estimated the reclamation costs for the proposed
disturbances at approximately $31,000.
CCR hopes to initiate the proposed exploration activities as soon as possible following
receipt of all required approvals. The Hill Ranch desires that we complete exploration
activities by the end of August. Therefore, a timely review and approval of this NOI is
greatly appreciated. Contact with Dan Hernandez and Kent Gorham of your office several
weeks ago regarding this project was very helpful in coordinating project details and to share
CCR's need for expediency based on the land-owner's wishes. Once you have reviewed the
NOI submittal materials, please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or
need for additional information.
Sincerely,
(for Colorado Coal Resources, LLC)
1F.?P, .
Vern R.
