We moved the materials down into the pit and leveled the ground. <br />By removing the temporarily stockpiled materials closest to the South Platte River, we have achieved your <br />request to make sure that the stockpiles are no longer there and they will not impede any possible 2008 <br />floodwaters. By the way, we actually removed more of the stockpiled materials than we had proposed in <br />our Corrective Action Plan (letter dated March 10, 2008). <br />A side note, (noted in our 03/10/08 letter): The original level of the Golden Phase was located <br />approximately ten (10) or more feet higher in elevation than the elevation of the South Platte River bank. <br />If you have questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 303-286-2247 or via email at <br />Imshults@lgeverist.com.
