A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD <br />the first time. Future use of this or other Imaging CD's does not require a now Installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase LI gg be In the D• d ve. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the.titextension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows" computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they o w with QuiekView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DRMS has determined that a program caned "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrthAVfew.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading' lrfauView", it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions; <br />i . Insert the CD into your computer. NOTE: A program called QulckView Autonur, which runs the QuickView <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer, does NOT work, you will need to manually instal! the QuickView program <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.eo.us. <br />The Permit File document Images can be viewed in the reception area of the DRMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
