Measurement and Payment <br /> Payment will be made on a per cubic yard of fly ash grout installed as bid in Item 2 of the Bid <br /> Schedule. This unit price bid will cover all costs for obtaining and transporting the dry fill <br /> material, cement and water to the staging area, rnixing the materials, and placement of up to <br /> 205 cubic yards of the grout material into and over the subsidence feature (including <br /> construction of the overlying cap) to the construction specifications. Such payment shall be <br /> considered full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary <br /> and incidental to the completion of Task 2, Backfill Subsidence Feature, as directed and <br /> described in the specifications. Payment shall be as this task is completed and approved by the <br /> PROJECT MANAGER. <br /> TASK 3 PROVIDE AND INSTALL ADDITIONAL FLY ASH GROUT MATERIALS <br /> In the event that the estimated volume of fly ash grout material installed as per Task 2, Backfill <br /> Subsidence Feature, is insufficient to complete either the backfill or the "Cap", then additional fly <br /> ash grout material will be supplied and installed by CONTRACTOR. All of the specifications <br /> contained in Task 2, Backfill Subsidence Feature, pertaining to safety, mixing, compressive <br /> strength requirements and placement must be adhered to during execution of Task 3. Note that <br /> the use of the materials offered in Task 3 is NOT guaranteed. The use of these materials will be <br /> authorized by PROJECT MANAGER, in the event that PROJECT MANAGER determines that <br /> such additional volume of material is necessary to complete the closure the specifications <br /> contained herein. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> Payment will be made on a per cubic yard of fly ash grout installed as bid in Item 3 of the Bid <br /> Schedule.
