3.3 Planned Disturbances/Reclamation for 2008 - 2009
No new disturbances are planned for the 2008 - 2009 reporting period. As inspections
and monitoring are conducted in the well field, areas where reclamation vegetation has
failed to establish will be recorded. Vegetation management will include the
maintenance of storm water control features as well as seasonal application of BLM
approved herbicides.
r

Photo 14 - Perspective of Piceance Creek facing south from bottom edge of reclaimed disposal cell area
just below the access road to production well 28-21. A small sliver of reclaimed ground contrasts with
mature grasses beneath the Pinyon-Juniper just a few feet away. Piceance Creek has seen marked
changes in the past few years as represented by the natural gas pipeline and processing plant in the
distance.
American Soda, L.L.P.
DBMS Annual Report
July 10, 2008
17
