A. Proof roll the subgrade with a loaded scraper, loaded water truck, or approved <br />equipment, to identify soft spots. Remove soft or yielding subgrade soils identified <br />by the proof roll to the depth determined by the Owner. Where required for site <br />grading, Random Fill shall be placed according to Section 02223 (Filling). <br />B. The final subgrade surface shall be smooth-drum or wheel rolled with rubber-tire <br />equipment to provide a flat surface free of protrusions.
