TASK 2 ADDITIONAL REMOVE, HAUL AND DISPOSE OF SLASH AND EARTHEN <br /> MATERIALS <br /> Smaller stockpiles of brush and timber slash, and soil materials are located on the south side of <br /> Highway 133, between the large stockpile to be removed during completion of Task 1, and the <br /> Hawks Nest Mine. These stockpiles will be removed only at the direction of the PROJECT <br /> MANAGER. Should removal of these stockpiles be authorized, the removal and disposal of <br /> these materials, including separation of trash, concrete and large rocks, and the segregation of <br /> materials by size at the disposal site, will be identical to the requirements described in Task 1. <br /> Task 2 is NOT guaranteed. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> Payment will be made at the unit price established in Item 2 of the Bid Schedule. Payment at <br /> the unit price established in Item 2 of the Bid Schedule will be considered full compensation for <br /> the excavation of organic and earthen materials, removal of trash, concrete and large rocks, <br /> transportation of the materials to the disposal site, segregation by size of organic materials, and <br /> disposal of all materials in the designated disposal areas. This unit price will cover all costs <br /> associated with completing this Task to the specifications described herein. Payment shall be <br /> as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. <br /> 4 <br />
